I ate my dinner

I finally eat my dinner tonight - it was a simple little meal and easy for Mom to make. It was Tuna Helper - I didn't think I was going to like it, I did and left just a tad bit left. I told Mom that I like the meat kind better.

piano lessons

Besides school and my Dad coming up to visit me I had piano lessons today. I have always wanted to try new and harder songs and I got just what I wished for. After Mom took these pictures she left the room to chat, something she does real well with people and I practiced. Mr. Pierre gave me harder songs to do now, I had trouble with it, so I guess I better do some practing....ha?

Dad came up for lunch...

My morning started out with doing what I always do in school, up until lunch time came. Dad came up and had lunch with me and Mom. Mom, decided we should just eat lunch in the class room that way Dad and I can talk without all the other kids always asking questions, because before you know it lunch is over, dad is leaving and we didn't get a chance to talk. So, Mom ask the teacher if we could eat in the room verses the cafeteria where all the noise is. My teacher always lets Mom and I eat in there and it give her a chance to somewhat get to know my other dad.

So while having lunch - Mom got this picture of me holding my star up that I colored. Mrs. W had the kids who have earned their AR points put a star up on the board. I'm the 2nd kid in class out of 18.

So Mom wanted me to take an AR test on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid - The Last Straw. I read that book all by myself in 4 days, it is a 5.4 grade level meaning a 5th grade 4th month reading level book and it's worth 3.0 -

I finished the test with flying colors. Mom wanted Dad to sit next to me while she took this picture of me passing that test. I got 10 / 10 right and earned the full amount of points being 3.0 I have a total now of 85.4 points in all. Mom, found out that in 4th grade you need 100 points to earn a AR shirt, I think I'm going to make it?

Silly things boys do!!

Sam, ask me if he could take some clothes and hangers out of a basket that he wanted to use it. I said sure dump that stuff out and put it in the other basket. So he did and this is what I found!!

Myakka River State Park..

Today, we went to Sarasota to visit the Myakka River State Park. I don't remember going there. At first I was like are you kidding me, but then when I seen all the neat stuff they had it was ok. I guess they only took cash or travelers check for payment, so that left us out of doing any real fun thing like riding on an air boat, but Mom and Dad said next time. We did about a 45 minute hike, had lunch first because by the time we got there it was lunch time 12:00 noon. We went up and did a canopy climb - we were actually higher then the trees itself, that was really neat. I think I read every sign they had.

All my new books...

These are all my new books yet I need to take a test on. I ended up with 8 from the book fare and 3 from an order. There is one missing that Mom didn't show because it's not an AR book. Don't forget to click on the pic to enlarge.

The one wimpy kid book, the last straw - I have already started reading that and I'm just about 1/2 through it. I'm reading this one by myself, usually Mom and I sit and read together.

AR books tested on already

My Mom had decided to make a little collage of some of the books I've read for taking AR tests. These are my personal owned ones and the rest came from book den on Fridays at school and what the teacher has read to us as a class. Remember to click on the picture itself to get a larger view of it.

Look what I got to do today!!! Mom and Dad took me to Domino's to meet up with Mr. Ray. Mom, ran into him one day at school and he ask her about me. Wanted to know how i'm doing in school and such. Mom, told him that i'm doing great and that I finally earned enough points in AR to earn my shirt. Not only that she told him that I was getting two awards one for A honor roll and Prefect Attendance - he was so happy for me that he told Mom to bring me by the pizza shop to get a small pizza.

My parents took me over there on Sunday afternoon thinking I was just going to order my pizza and Mr. Ray said did you bring your camera, Mom was like what? He told her well he's going to be making his own pizza, Mom was floored by that. She didn't want me doing it without her taking pictures. So we drove home to get the camera then she called him and said lets just plan this for another day due to time.

No problem on his end, so tonight at 5:30 we went to Domino's and I was put to work. Enjoy all the pictures Mom took. I have to say It was so much fun I enjoyed every little mintue.

Oh and the neat thing about this was, I was working right around the employees.

Dad came up for lunch

Dad, came up to have lunch with me today because he won't have me next weekend! He's driving my grand parents car to Maine for them on the 30th. So after lunch we went in to check out the book fair and picked a book.

Medieval Times!!

Today at school the 3rd graders were doing a Medieval Feast! For the past few weeks, we have been making hats for the girls, tunic's and crowns for the boys and shields. I myself have traced and cut out all the shields and hats for 9 3rd grade classes. That took me about 4 days in all, I would trace them at school and then bring them home to cut out. I was the only MOM doing this and I just had a ball doing it. I love I stress I LOVE helping out in school, especially when it comes to Sam's class.

When it came to decorating the hats for the girls - we one at a time would sit and think really hard on what she was going to be wearing the day of. Then came the tunic's, that was a lot of fun seeing the boys really considerate on how they wanted theirs too look. Sam, made a tunic but didn't wear it because he and I have borrowed a costume from a friend.

So attached are just a few pictures of course of my little Knight. Doesn't he look fabulous? Here he is first thing in the morning doing his work as always while 1/2 the class just messed and played around. I guess that's why he got straight "A"s!

This is Sam's teacher looking like a beautiful princess!! and standing next to her banner I made. Not bad for a first time banner for Medieval times ha?

here he comes with all the 3rd graders marching down the walk way. All the knights/kings on one side and the queens on the other. I also took some video that is at the end of the page. No need to mute the music because nothing was sad, it's just video of how cute they all looked.

now with incredible zoom 24x the zoom I may add on my camera, I hid behind Aunt Chrisann because I saw an apple in Sam's hand, and man was I right. He never eats and apple. It was too cute, I saw it in his hand he never saw me, then he licked it then bit it.

my knight walking across the play ground, I knew he was looking for me because I told him I would take him home after we cleaned up the mess. He spotted me and came towards me, telling me that he got on a swing, but slipped off feel to the ground and then when he tried to get up the swing came back and hit him.
