First day back to school

Sam's first day of school was cancelled, due to tropical storm FAY. After we got back from the cruise, we were suppose to have open house on the 18th of Aug, that was cancel and school was cancelled on the 19th. So Sam's first day was the 20th of August. I'm pretty sure he already has a Hurricane make-up day as do kids up north get snow make-up days. So these pictures were taken of Sam standing by his new desk in 3rd grade.

Day 2

Day 2: full day at Sea

This morning we had breakfast in the main dinning room. The dinning room was 3 levels with about 2 to 300 tables on each level. We eat there because it was a character breakfast and Sam I think met just about everyone of them. He's not pictured here with Dora because he doesn't like her, and he would only get his picture taken with her If I did it with them. He promised Aunt Chrisann he would get his picture taken with her and he did. I guess she's going to have to see it when she comes over!

So those are the character: Gosh for a Mom I had a great time on this cruise I felt like I was the kid sometimes. But this cruise was all about Sam - it was his birthday gift.

Here Sam is on stage in line waiting to meet Jennette and Nathan from iCarly. They play Sam and Freddie on the show. I may add that those two kids were absolutely what kids are or should be made of. They were just as sweet to everyone and very patience young stars. Sam, missed the first met and greet with them - so we came back to the Arcadia Theatre on deck 3 and sat for 2 hours before they got to our row. They ran out of time early this morning signing autographs and came back to finish those up they gave tokens too, grant Sam did not have a token. After the children with the tokens were taken care of they finish the rest. As you can see Sam was very very happy and said he just loves Nathan.







Afterwards they had a slim time live show going on in Studio B - that is also an ice rink. That's one thing we did not do. So during the slim time live show they have picked 2 parents and 4 children from the audience and wouldn't you know it they picked Sam and I. We as the Mom and Dad had to dress as fast as we could in the fairy old parents costumes and I lost...it's because the young girl who was giving me my clothes took her time about it because we believe they really wanted to see the Dad wearing boobs....lol. you can check out the video below.

Day 1

We left the hotel and headed to Miami for our 7 night Nickelodeon Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of The Seas - it's the biggest ship in the world as of now.

The 5 pictures are of the ship as we were coming into port in Miami. Then our stateroom where we slept for the past 7 nights, then of course (Mom) spotted spongebob and immediately got in line for a photo opp.

I have to mention that again Todd and I have just celebrated our 2nd year of our LID on 08-08-08 and to my surprise my DH got this beautiful shirt for me. It has written on it Beijing 08 and The Great Wall. This is now my favorite shirt and I can't wait for it to become clean again.

Wow August Already

Well the time has come to officially make this blog private. Sam's information is now longer open to public eyes as we will now say good-bye! Thanks for stopping by to check up on me. And since only one person ask to be added to our private list it will be open to that person. It's a real bummer Mom did this more for family members and only one person ask to follow along.
