Happy Halloween

What a great Halloween and thanks to the "Johnson Family". Sam's friend and his Mom invited us over to their house for a Halloween Party! This is our first Halloween Party ever attending. Sam, is not a big fan of walking all over the place to get candy. Sam's also not a big fan of eating a lot of candy either. His dentist loves his teeth. So here we are Todd and I dressed up in our Tacky Tourist clothes and I have never felt so FAT. All the Mom's were laughing at me because for the past week as most of my readers know I have been working out with my treadmill and bike to put so much weight on...lol. Sam, was an adorable "S.W.A.T" man and wore his costume well.

here is Sam and his Dad - Sam was beat and only after about 20 minutes into it. He was hot and sweaty and wanted to go back. We did on the other hand lost two of the children, the Mom took them to another party and they also hated being hot. It had to have been at least 88 outside. We got an early start being it gets dark early.

And this is the end result of the kids, we walked around for 2 hours - WORLD RECORD for Sam, last year he was with his Dad and made it to only 4 houses and he was done. I think because he was now with Friends it was much more enjoyable for him. Nothing like being in a swimming pool in October and on the 31st very last day. Our Winters are beautiful and are like this most of the season. These were taken after the 8pm hour - what great pictures in the dark.



and this is Sam's end result for the candy! He decided he wanted to spend the night over his friends house so therefore he will be going to Church with them in the morning and I took a picture of all his candy when I got home. I will say most of this will go to waste unless I keep my costume on and eat away, well this way no one would now if I'm really putting weight on...lol. Sam is not a big chocolate kid and does not eat gummy stuff, that's why his dentist loves his teeth. This child has ever in his 9 years of life tried a soda either, he's my water boy.

Sam, received two awards this morning, we knew about the "B" Honor Roll and the award for being Responsible came as a surprise. WTG!!!! Sam

Report Card and Piano video

My little man did it again!! He came home today with his report card - and being in the 4th grade is really hard so he says, he came home with a great report. He got 4 - A's and 1 B and is receiving an award next Wednesday.


This video shows Sam playing his very last song in his first set of piano books. He's playing Jingle Bells and did so well, I made him play it again so that I could record it.

Sam's dress code for CHEC

This morning Sam headed off to school dressed like it was winter here in Sunny Florida. All of the 4th grade students are going on a field trip. They were doing one class at a time and it's taking 2 days to do so, They began this trip about 2 weeks ago and today was Sam's classes turn. Today he is doing his hike, and tomorrow it will be the boat. They are doing 1/2 the class on the hike today an 1/2 on the boat. Its all about nature and trails and he was so excited when he woke up that his day has finally come. They are required to wear long pants/long shelve shirts, hats, glasses, bug spray and sunblock.

school pictures are done...

We picked up Sam's new school pictures today - i'm so glad we had them done at sears...nothing like seeing 1 10x13, 2 8x10, 2 5x7, 16 wallets and 16 minis for $9.99

Sam, is not having such a good day! I ask him to let me take a picture of him crying to email to his Dad, and this is what I got!!

Sam, got very upset because we were going on a walk..a 1.5 mile around the neighborhood. It wasn't hot it was beautiful and he just wanted to play games. Well I guess I won because I told him he wasn't staying home by himself and he's just making it harder on himself, so lets do the 25 minute walk and get it over with.

Sam, get no form of exercise at all expect for when he's in school and he goes to recess and PE (once a week). Children these days don't seem to get enough exercise and all we want to do is help him while he young, because when he gets older he will be in control of himself.
