Do I lQQk Comfortable?

After we returned home from our photo session, it was time to play. And this is what I did for hours...sitting at the kitchen counter playing my PSP.

Mom was very happy knowing that not only she got a deal on pictures but they were giving her a 10x13 free. That is going to mess her up big time I have to say, every school picture she has hung up of me the beautiful child is a 8x10. Does that mean she has to change her size from here on out?

Pic Day

Well I Mom did it - I made an appointment to get Sam's picture taken for School. But I'm not getting it done at the school, I did my checking around and I'm saving more then 1/2 the price to have a professional photo taken and it's scheduled for today...woo hoo. LifeTouch photos just charges way to much for taken pictures and this Mom is not paying that price anymore. He still will have his pic taken at school because that is the one that goes into his yearbook.

I couldn't help myself by taking this picture after school. He looked so darn cute today, no wonder every body just loves him so - how can they not he's completely and totally beautiful. I have to add that I was very happy knowing that Sam took two AR test today in school and did very well. He keeps telling me that the AR books in his class aren't all that great and he never can find the time to take a test. Sam has a ton of books at home that I have checked on the school website to find that they were AR books. I wrote the Grade Level and points in each one. I had him read both books here at home within the past 3 nights, he took them to school today and took test.

The first book was about a Show and Tell and he scored 10/10 on that. The 2nd one was Nate the Great and boring beach bag he scored a 9/10 WOO HOO!!! That's what I need to do with him, he doesn't really want to do it, but after he starts a book it's hard to put down because he wants to know what's happening next.

Money for Pictures

I have to say this is getting pretty ridiculous - PRICE that is. Check out the form Sam came home with just for a school picture. This is CRAZY the prices they want to charge you. Of course I have all 8x10 pictures of Sam in frames and in order for me to buy the smallest package with an 8x10 it will cost me $33.00 that's is just nuts, And for 1-8x10, 2-5x7's, 2-3x5's and 12-2x3 who in the hell wants those tiny things anyway? Why not make it an additional 8x10 in lieu of 2x3's?OK freaking crazy. Of course if I were to buy that highly outrageous package I will without a doubt scan my 8x10 for other family members. I think before I go and even consider ordering this mess I'm going to be looking into the picture people - all I need is an 8x10. Has anyone out there notice how rough it is for people these days....of course not, not LIFE Touch - take our money we have tons we don't have problems with you charging up the ying yang.

Oh, one more thing and they have something called "Add Retouching" what's with that, so if they screw up your photo you can pay them an extra $6.00, you pay extra for a background other then the free one, $5.00 to have your name put on only wallets.

Heading to School

This morning the girls came over to hitch a ride to school. Mom have invited them due to she was volunteering today in my class. So, she coordinated all of us to wear the same shirts as she was wearing hers too. Don't we look cute together?

My Little Chef

Sam, loves to help me in the kitchen. This morning Sam and I went shopping for some ingredient's to make a dessert with only Jell-O and CoolWhip for him. Dad and I picked up a new cook book for favorite desserts and Sam chose to make a cool 'n icy treat called: Oreo Ice Cream shop pie. After he made that Mom chose to make a Citrus Sorbet Pie - it took all but 25 minutes to make both, but both had to be placed in the freezer for 4 hours. Now were they GOOD!!! you bet they were.

With Dad

Sam, spent the night with Daddy David in Naples. David, took Sam to the park for a bit and emailed me a few pictures. I'm completely impressed with these photos taken from a iphone.

1st Mid-Term Report

I have to share this one...Sam brought home his first mid-term report and with that he had an "A" in each subject. WOW!!! He just loves 3rd grade and his new teacher. Just click on the image to enlarge.

Teacher's comment

This morning I took Sam to school and had a word with his teacher. She wrote a note in Sam's school book yesterday and if I could come in and help one day next week. She wants me to put some kind of animal books together, so I wanted to talk to her in person. I told her I would love too and talked to her about Sam's chart, it's called a circle of friends that he had in the hallway. I made a comment about how sweet and cute that was and how I just loved his drawings as well. She said Sam was a great kid - he's doing well in class and he's a good kid. I felt like I was on I love how he put on there he has 2 dads and drew 2 of them, he had 2 grand mom's, which I have mention to him that he had 3, but he said he only really liked 2 of them, Grand mom Ruth and Pris, not Ann. Then he said he wanted to be a meteorologist when he grew up. She said the first day of school, she ask the kids what they wanted to be and she was excited about Sam's answer because he told her he loved to watch the weather station.

another tooth gone

Sam, lost his 4th tooth today! This one has been hanging for weeks now and with the help of Mom - she got it out for me. I can't wait to see what the tooth fairy brings me in the morning.

Another Great Lunch Day!!

Sam, had another great lunch today at school. After I picked him up from the bus stop - he said

Sam, (Mom), yes Sam - guess who got picked to have the special lunch,

Mom, who Sam? Hayley got picked, wow that's great!

Sam, and guess who she picked to have lunch with her, me not knowing being Hayley is not in Sam's class, who Sam?

Sam, she picked me Mom.

Mom, are you kidding me - no Mom she really did.

Mom, that's great! How did you know she picked you?

Sam, because at lunch time I was getting ready to sit down at my table and she said Sam - I picked you to sit with me.

I thought that was so very sweet of her to pick Sam. So I continued on asking questions. I said Sam why do you think she picked you to sit with her - Mom because she likes me and I think she loves me too! I said of course she loves you. They have been friends for more then 4 years now and they go to each others birthday parties.

I'm thinking because maybe she was excited knowing she's coming over after homework is done for a play date. She is just adorable and have also invited me over to dinner tonight. But I took a rain check - lets get Mom approval first.

My Bubble Boy

Oh my goodness what a bubble bath was! I ran Sam's water and thought within 2 minutes I will get bath to the bathroom, well to both of our surprise we walked into the bathroom and the bubble were at the top of the tub. Sam's smile got so big on his face as he has never seen his tub look like that. He wanted his picture taken in a bad way, so here are 3 of them.

Lucky Boy

Sam was one of 2 children from 3rd grade to have a special lunch today and he chose a friend to join him. The scrapbook page speaks for itself. Just click on the photo and you will get a larger view of it.

My Dream come TRUE!!

This is one of my dreams come true. Mom and Dad took me on a 7 night Nickelodeon cruise and on August 12th, I got to swim, hug, kiss, ride and play with dolphins. It was like I was in heaven. It is one of the best things that has ever happen to me in my life.
