Dentist Appt now.....

Sam, now had his routine check up at the dentist today!! He had to have x-rays and he just hates that part. He can't seem to open his little mouth wide enough for them to put the films in his mouth. He just kept gaging and wouldn't stop, I had let Sam know that it couldn't be all that bad you are a year older and your mouth certainly is bigger....lol...with a smile on my face as I said that. So after his x-rays and cleaning the doctor checked out his mouth and said Sam I see no cavities, good job and keep it up.

8 year check up!!

Sam's 8 year check up was today and to his surprise he needed 2 shots. He wasn't very happy about that - I didn't think he would. Now it was up to me whether or not I wanted Sam to get them today or just wait till he hit the 7th grade. Sam, hasn't been very pleasant and a little smart mouth with me and when Nurse Betty gave me that option, I said go ahead and shoot him up because he's been very mean towards me today. I let it go and didn't say a word to Sam about it. Let me tell you - when he found out he was getting 2 shots you would have thought it was the end of the world. He got a booster for chicken pox and Hepatitis A. I thought why not get them today, why wait and besides we're already here. It could have hurt even more when he's 12.

Sam's other gifts

Today we took Sam out to dinner at his favorite restaurant "Apple Bees" to celebrate his birthday. We gave him one other gift as he needed something to open for his birthday. He opened up an envelope that had 2 cards in it and they were for 2 magazine subscriptions to "Nick" and "National Geographic for Kids" for a year. Then we stopped by DQ as Dad ran in and got an ice cream cake, in the mean time I took this picture of Sam as it read on the clock 6:26pm and that was the time of Sam's birth on this special day!! After we got the cake we went home and met Aunt Chrisann and the girls as they came over for cake.

Happy 8th Birthday

Today is Sam's real birthday, yesterday we celebrated his birthday with Friends and Family. Today he gets to play with all his new stuff and he gets to go out to dinner somewhere of his choice, I know where that's going to be! He has one more gift to open as well and that will be tonight during dinner. So Happy Birthday sweet heart - Mom and Dad and everyone else around you LOVE you more then anything. I just hope and pray he doesn't get like most 8 year olds. Yesterday I said to a few people that I didn't like the number 8 and they all agreed. But being our LID is 8-8 I have to like that number, maybe it will be our lucky number with Sam as well, you thank? Sam's BIG Birthday gift.....

What a special day for Sam! Today we celebrated his 8th birthday with a party and a party it was. Mom (I) aways go way out for Sam, he's my baby, my son, my angel and my best friend and we love him very much. We have held out on doing so many things in the past 2 years because of our adoption. But being the process is so very slow I didn't want to put our lives on hold anymore. My dearest husband had booked us the most incredible cruise yet!

He does pretty good for a child just getting out of second grade. I love the hear the kids reading and mispronouncing their words...it's just too cute. Sam had 6 Friends at his party, Ben C., Ben J., Meghan, Sheighlin, Raven and little Emma. Jahden showed up first dropped his gift off and left, he wasn't feeling all that well. Sam, made out pretty good - he got 5 more Wii games - Indiana Jones Lego, Wall.E, Ben 10, Playground, and Puppy LUV. He got a couple of gift cards to Walmart and Best Buy, some cash - and Indiana Jones Lego lego set with 929 pieces that I need to put together, 2 other small Lego sets, got a radio control boat for the pool, gift card to the pottery place and a cool Boston Red Sox back pack from Aunt Chrisann and the girls/ A Star Wars t-shirt, T-rex paint kit for his Uncle Ted's family, Air hogs automorph rocket, 2 big water blasters and 2 other water guns, even a cooking set that one of the kids yelled out and said hey you got a hair styling kit we laughed so hard and other things as well.

Got Money

glitter-graphics.com I woke up this morning and found money under my pillow. I love money but I never spend it - Mom always banks it for me. I was so excited that Mom came in the room trying to hide from me as I saw her hiding behind my bed and said Mom.....look what I got, I got $1.00 for losing 2 teeth and man was I excited. Mom, said that's great Sam but I would check out that money again, so by looking at it a little bit closer I discovered that not only was it a $1.00 but it was $10.00 I got 10. for losing 2 teeth, that's $5.00 for each one.

Sam lost 2 more Teeth!!

I lost my 2 front teeth today. They have been lose for sometime now - Mom has been waiting a long time for them to fall out. She even stopped by the dentist office today and ask them if what if they don't fall out by the time I go for my Appt the end of the month will they pull them, they told her yes - I'm so glad Mom helped me with that today. They fall out at 5:35pm just after dinner and as I was cleaning my mouth out in the bathroom Dad called.

Musical Talent

You are ready to rock-----yeah....are you ready to roll....oh yeah!! Mom and I have joined a band tonight....and we're really excited about it. Mom really wanted this game, I really didn't care - but after Dad came home with it from Walmart and Mom put it together, I was like oh yeah - it's time to rock and roll. So we are now officially in a Rock Band.
