Sam and Christopher

We took a weekend get away to Pensacola, Fl for 2 nights while we were going to visit my cousin Christopher and his family in Alabama.





We're just doing a little site seeing for now.



We took a early morning trip to the Museum in Pensacola as you can see.

Ashley, decided to join them tonight...she and Sam have not yet been in the same class and I'm hoping this year they will be together in the same class. This child is just so beautiful, inside and out! She has beautiful eyes, and a prefect smile and she knows it! Every time I see her she smiling. I told her tonight during dinner - as I always do, that she one gorgeous girl.

School is OUT!!!

Wow, can't believe that school is now OUT!!! Is Sam happy? Of course he is and so am I. First thing this morning, I made 9 little birthday cakes...Sam is decorating his own right now. Being his birthday is in the summer, we wanted to celebrate his fake birthday with his friends on the last day of school. All of the kids just loved them and said I was the best...made my heart melt. A few of the girls gave me a hug before I left.


Sam's cake is sitting on top of a tiny tupperware cake container for little people. It's prefect for a personal size birthday cake, don't you think? I got that for Emma, but I think come Sam's real birthday after our trip, I will invite 9 kids and make 10 cakes, one for each of them, better yet - let them decorate it themselves.

I have to add that I used 2 boxes of cake mix and how I made them, you would never believe. Using my tupperware recipe for that - I put about 1.5" of cake mix in a round container and microwaved each one for 3 minutes...yup it's a cake made in the microwave and they were the BEST!!!

Sam, is now ready for summer and so is his Mom!! But being I have this posted now, I need to get off line as we have a big storm coming our way!! Can't believe after we left the school parking lot, my boy have become a 5th grader.

Final full week!!

This morning at 9:50am was the final award day for 4th graders!! Sam, has been on the *B* honor roll the entire school year....and I couldn't be more proud of him as a parent. He has also earned a Certificate of Achievement for earning those B honor roll awards during the school year, along with a ribbon.


Congratulations!!! Sam on a JOB WELL DONE!!

We are now counting down the days!! Three more to go, come on Tuesday!!

School Spring Pic 2010

For the first time, I have to say I'm not happy with this year's Spring pic. I'm glad I didn't buy it!! But being it's my son - I wasn't sending it back to school unless I scanned it first. Even if I were going to buy it, I wouldn't spend $42.00 on this small package. Pictures are costing way too much these days and times are so hard for so many....
