Black and White - Wednesday
I had to grab my camera this morning, this little boy wasn't getting past me! After he eat breakfast, gone to the bathroom and brushed his teeth I took him outside for my Wednesday photos. And I love that he doesn't mind me taking his picture. Isn't he just so very handsome?

Happy Valentine's Day - Mrs. Rink
Sam, gave his teacher this really cute Valentine Day Bear. I think she really liked it and the card that went with it.

Sam, also had mall today at school. The kids really look forward to this event and it's just for the 4th graders. The kids take their JUNK to school and sell it for what they call bear bucks. Sam was one of 5 kids at his business. Their stores name was called "Valentine World" and of course Sam said too me last night that the girls are looking forward to me making their business sign. He use to be teamed up with Boys, but I think the girls really like how Sam's Mom makes their signs so that they won't have to make their own and has me do it. I don't mind one bit, I enjoy making Sam's signs and as long as he wants me to help I'm helping. I can help with that, but I can't stand too close to the table...lol. I think if you looked closely you maybe able to see both signs, oops my mistake you can only see the one in the basket. One for the business name and the other is a price chart for the muffins and brownies I made last night.
I'm running out of stuff for him to take to school. I told him next time it's just baked goods. He sold 15 packs of 2 choc chip muffins, 12 brownies and some other junk. Thank GOD for the dollar store or we will go broke. He sold everything on his table, expect for 2 books that I have been trying to get rid of at the last 2 mall days at school. I guess there going into my own garage sale whenever that happens.

Stats on AR test...
This morning while visiting Sam's teacher, I had her give me a printout of all the books that Sam read during this school year. I wanted to compare it with his 3rd grade Stats.
Sam, only needed to earn 75 points in 3rd grade to make the AR awards. Well, being that I didn't have a list then and got one after he earned 100 points, it made it easy for me too compare.
3rd grade Sam read 71 books and passed 69 of those, earning 98.9 total points.
4th grade Sam read 33 books and passed 31 of those, earning 101. total points.
So he read less books this year, because Mom (I) figured out the AR system and got him books that he liked that were worth more then 1/2 points. All the possible points he could have gotten in 3rd grade total 121. points and in 4th they total 120.5 so that saved him from reading 38 books.
It's hard to believe that he read 22 .50 1/2 point books and 24 books that were only 1.0 point.
So before Christmas break he's read 18 books earning 50.9 and after
Christmas and in 21 school days he read another 15 books earning 50.1. I can't believe my little man read 15 more books after he got back to school on January 5th, that's only 21 school days. That's a lot of reading ha?

Sam did it!!!!
Sam, isn't really the one jumping for joy, it's his Mama doing the jumping. I was set and ready to go tomorrow to school with Sam as he took his final AR test moving him into the points he needed. And to my surprise he finished his book in class and took a test on it, earning himself a whopping 101.5 points. The book he had been reading was
and it was worth 6.0 points, he said he earned all of them. My gosh are we very proud of him. So, now tonight we will take him shopping and buy him an xbox game that was promised if he earned his points.
