Well this Sunday I couldn't help but too take two pictures. The kids were singing in Church - it's been a few weeks since Sheighlin and Meghan were there.

Sam's thoughts about the first 2 weeks

Tonight was 4th grade parent night at school. The teacher had ask each student to write a letters to their parents on their thoughts about the first 2 weeks and this is what Sam said:

at the end of this meeting - Mrs. McGregor said she liked what Sam wrote, because he told the truth about how he felt. I think Sam gets that from me - tell it like it is.

Back to school

Sam, had a great day at school today! He's 100% better but still has his cough that maybe hanging around for a few days! He's happy, bouncing all over the house and being Sam again.

Dr.s visit

This morning Sam woke up a shade of white and sweat pouring off his head. It was time to contact the doctor's office, I had to wait till 9am before they were there. I got him in at 11am.

The doctor looked him completely over, no redness to the throat area, ears were clear, nose was crusty from all the blowing. Sam, was clogged up and full of snot - he got himself a treatment to loosing up his mucus.

By the time he got home, he was good as new and feeling 95% better. The Dr. gave me a prescription for a inhaler to use in school.

not feeling so hot!!

Sam, woke up with a slight fever - 99.5 and has a sore throat, that poor little guy. He had to have gotten something from a kid at school. I don't recall Sam one time being sick over the summer, and now it's back to the school full of germs!!

Yes, that's right GERMS all over the place, and to top that one off - Chrisann, called to tell me that she was ready to home school her children. I ask why and this was Wednesday both the girls had to have their heads check for head lice!! One girl in their class had it. She and a friend of hers both had it, so you have to take both those classes and check each child's head, top that off they both had smaller sisters in different classes so their classes needed to be checked as well. That poor nurse with 4 full classes checking for head lice.

Sam, knows if he ever came home with it - he's being shaved, good thing I have a boy.

This evening Sam wasn't feeling all that great, he must have sneezed 100 times and an on going sneeze at that. I haven't a clue what has caused that - no sooner I said Bless you to Sam millions of times, Todd decided to get in on the action - then he and Sam just sneezed forever! My gosh - what is going on with both my guys? I'm so glad and so happy that I don't have all of those horrible allergies these poor guys have.

2nd day of school

Sam, had a great second day of school - I just wanted every one to see my handsome boy in another really cool pair of shorts...he's just too too handsome.

1st day of School - begins today!

Sam, is off to school - first day starts today! He was so ready and no sooner then he walked to the car, he said Mom I have cramps in my stomach. Poor kid, always gets this little nervous feeling first day. I told him he will be just fine as always it's the first day. The last picture I took of him in class and by the look on his face he was not happy with my choice in taking it...sorry Sam I guess he's just too grown up now.

Getting ready for school!!

It's so unbelievable that school begins tomorrow!! The summer went by way to fast and here we are at another school year. Sam's been in school now 5 years...as I begin to tear up I'm thinking my baby is this beautiful smart little man at the tender age of 9, and heading into the 4th grade!!

and here are his school supplies. My favorite item here is his L.L. Bean backpack that Grand mom Pris got for him when he entered Kindergarten - he's used it every single year he's been in school and it's still in beautiful condition. Thank you Grandmom Pris. Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure

Sam, had a great time at both parks today!! He walked around for a long time - first time ever really without being in a stroller! I think now he realizes how important it is for him to get out and walk from time to time, or you will just have sore muscles.

Now for Universal Studios rides, he rode:
* The Simpsons
* Revenge of the Mummy
* Men In Black &
*E.T.

he was really not into getting on or even seeing:
*Jimmy Neutron
*Jaws
*Disaster or
*Shrek

we would like to go back another time to get on the newest ride which isn't open yet and that's the *Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket* coaster, that looks like it's even bigger then the Hulk.



now for Islands of Adventure! We have never been able to ride the *Hulk* coaster because Sam wasn't tall enough - it took a while for him to grow the height of requirement which is 54"...woo hoo. We held off on that ride until he was tall enough to ride together. So we stood in line for 25 minutes out of a 75 minute wait and then heard on the loud speaker they are experiencing technical difficulties and thought are you kidding me. We stood there for another 5 minutes and Todd said we will come back, I didn't want to leave that spot. So that's when Sam got his dippins dots for a treat.



No sooner then Sam was done I heard the ride up and running again - that was a 20 minute past time. So, we got back in line to wait an additional 53 minutes. It was the best ride yet and Sam's eyes were like, then he said Mom - that's was the neatest ride ever! I have a coaster rider now as I (Mom) loves roller coaster rides.





So, after that really nice ride, Sam was ready to leave and he exited the park like this!! Dear Dad said their only little once so let him enjoy it!! And Sam didn't seem to mind that at all.

Open House at School!!

It was open house at school tonight!1 From 6 to 7 we got to meet Sam's teacher and other students who are in his class. Out of I think she said 21 students, I think during our time visiting we only got to see 6 other kids, where were they all?

Sam, spotted his desk and began to do this!!

WOW!! Sam, was enjoying this text books and one other child looked at hers. That's our Sam - always focusing on his work.


The we captured this picture with his teacher!! She acutally retired last school year and look where she's standing, but for how long? She may not be there the entire year and I'm not happy about that.

I just received Sam's pictures that I took at this Doctor's office with the nurse's camera. He got his shot on Tuesday Aug 3rd, 2009.

Now being it's Wednesday, take a good look at Sam's hair because at 11:30 today he's getting it cut off! I know he wanted to grow it out and he looks cute with it a little longer, but school is starting up on Monday the 10th and I'm worried about "HEAD LICE", the shorter the better.

Another shot!!

Today I got another shot and this time I didn't even began to cry. Mom, stood back and wanted to take my picture but for some reason her camera didn't work, so the nurse there let her use her camera and she said she would email them to Mom. I was so proud of myself and thought wow I'm really growing up!! After my appointment Mom took her camera out once again and wouldn't you know it, it worked so here I am showing off my bandage.
