Double rainbow and award

We left the house this morning and it seems so very close to us, this beautiful rainbow that GOD has prepared. There was just a tiny little sprinkle this morning Mom ran into the house to get her camera.
To our surprise this morning, I was given this award for attending the book den thought out the year. That was a total surprise and very exciting. So far this school year I earned 8 awards and more to come on Monday.

If it wasn't for the rainbow being outside, this picture wouldn't have been taken. Mom, always carries that camera around with her.

Oh I almost forgot - I earned 100.3 points in AR...Mom promised she would get me a Wii game if I earned 100...woo hoo I did it!!I think I'm feeling pretty confident now to earn that in 4th grade, that's what I need to get a shirt in 4th is 100 points. Fifth grade will be a different story, I think you need 200.

Siesta Key Beach

We went to Siesta Key beach this morning, Mom wanted to leave early as always because of the parking issues at such places. It was fun as always and the best part is I met 2 new boys today around my age, Sam who is 7 and Josh who's 9 and the neatest thing is, they live like almost around the corner from us off of Peachland.

Mom, called and left a message for their Mom so that we can get together again. Josh was really nice to me, he ask me If I wanted to go swimming with him and his brother and I didn't have my goggles with me so he let me us his. Josh is the kid in the white shirt and Sam in the red.

Nokomis, Beach

This morning after my friend Ben got here, we got on the highway and headed to Nokomis, Beach - it's north of Venice. I think so far I liked this beach more, or better then the last few we went too. I know tomorrow Mom wants to go to Sieta Key beach -that's her favorite, nice white sand and the water seems to be more clearer up there. Sieta is in Sarasota.

The waves here were nice, I got my butt knocked over a few times and at one point one wave covered Mom's head as well. Ben and I always play very well together, he's like Mom's 2nd son and my brother.

This beach had some excitement going on today. As Ben, Dad and I were in the water, Mom ran towards the beach and she and I at the same time saw dolphins in the water. I got out of that water so fast and Mom said it was OK. But, it was the coolest thing to see dolphins in the water. Then Mom was back in with us and Ben noticed all of these little teeny weeny tiny fish swimming all around us, as if we were bate. We did not want those fish in our pants, so we got out then Ben saw a hermit crab in the beach.

And the last picture....well, it kind of made my Mom sick to her stomach that people just have the right to do stupid things to their children. The story is on her blog!!

My piano does more stuff.....

Dad, came up for dinner - Mom made a great dinner, we had turkey mashed potatoes, gravy, mac and cheese and steamed vegetables which I won't eat.

After dinner Dad and I played around with my piano and then he noticed while we didn't know that I can do more then one tune on my piano. Meaning I can play it with the sound of drums, guitar, latin, pop rock and more. That was the neatest thing ever. I can't wait to show Sheighlin and Ben.

during our time together - we had in the background playing a movie. It was an old classic called "Chitty Chitty Bang, Bang.

fcat is gay Pictures, Images and Photos The FCAT scores are in. I haven't posted this on our blog yet, but I don't want to ever forget this day and it's important to me to post it on Sam's blog first. I ask Sam's teacher about how he did on the test, and I was told that I as of now am not aloud to know his score. WHAT? He's my child and you can't tell me what Sam scored in at? NOPE!! it's a secret and it's bull if you ask me. But I won't blame the teacher for that I blame the loud mouth principle who makes the announcement to the entire school but won't tell the parents. I wouldn't want to be there answering all those phones and telling Parents they don't know what the child score in at. I'm sure the students who scored a "1" parents already know.

Well, I know - I can say I'm very proud of my child for doing a fabulous job in his FCAT. The highest number you can get is a 5 and the lowest is a 1. Sam, came in with a 4 on reading and a 4 on math. Way to go!!!! Sam. Of course Sam doesn't know this yet, and he will find out whenever that day comes in school. But I can rest to sure I knew he was going to pass with flying colors because he's a very bright boy.

Sam's music

Sam, has all of the sudden a passion for The Eagle's - yeah the group. He wanted for me to play that CD at home and unfortunately we don't have that album. So, I went on his play list and added about 6 songs from the Eagles.

I got this off line:

With five number one singles and four number one albums, the Eagles were among the most successful recording artists of the 1970s; at the end of the 20th century, two of those albums, Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) and Hotel California, ranked among the ten best-selling albums ever, according to the certifications of the Record Industry Association of America. Though most of its members came from outside California, the group was closely identified with a country- and folk-tinged sound that initially found favor in and around Los Angeles in the late '60s, as played by such bands as the Flying Burrito Brothers and Poco, both of which contributed members to the Eagles. But the band also drew upon traditional rock & roll styles and, in their later work, helped define the broadly popular rock sound eventually referred to as classic rock. That helped the Eagles to achieve a perennial appeal among generations of music fans who continued to buy their records many years after they had split up, which inspired the reunion they mounted in the mid-'90s.

School Day!!

Today Mom came to school and took video clips of all the kids for the DVD she's making for my teacher. She wanted each of us to say something nice to our teacher and wish her a great summer. She for the past 4 years has made a special DVD for all of my teachers of all the events and so forth that have taken place at school while she was volunteering.

Today was had basically a fun day, a lot of reading, it was called a reading day! That's for all kids who want to earn their AR points and today was the died line for doing that. The book I have in my hands is called "Winn Dixie" just like the movie and worth 3 points, I tested on that and got a 10/10 earning the full 3 points, now I'm up to 96.1 points. Mom said if I got 100 before the school year ended that she would get me the Kong Fu Panda on Wii. Well I'm just about there.

Daytona and heading home

It's Mother's Day!!1 I got up at 7:10am and wanted to head right straight to the beach and Dad jumped right up got on his suit and off we went. Mom, wanted to at least eat breakfast first.

Mom and I at the beach.

Dad is freezing his buns off but gets in the water. Then we worked on our project, and that was trying to dig to China.

after we left the beach - we headed to Orlando and went to downtown Disney. Just took a few snap shots there, walked around for about an hour and headed on home.

we got held up in a traffic jam just 7 miles from our exit and this is what we saw. Mom, said it's not worth driving like a bat out of h--- because this is what happens, people are always in such a big rush.

after we got home I gave Mom her Mother's Day card I made for her at school.

This is what it read:

10 things about...MOM

1. She is a stay at home mom. She only comes to school to pick me up or drop me off.
2. She's a great cook.
3. She loves a show called Day of our Lives.
4. She always gets a break time from ironing clothes.
5. She's 46 years old.
6. She the 2nd out of 5 of her sisters to be born.
7. She's a fun person to be around.
8. She loves to play on the computer.
9. She doesn't like the beach.
10. Her two main free time activities are the Wii or the pool.

She did remind me that she does do a lot of volunteering at school, besides take me or pick me up. She also said that she's the 2nd of 3 girls and the 3 of 5 kids.

Daytona Fl 'weekend'

Well, we are on our way...and I can't wait, I just love the beach. The neat thing about traveling I can still play the things l like the most like my Wii. I have this neat new little case that the Wii goes into without us having to bring every little wire and even the sensor bar, this system has it all.

We got to our hotel room and it was right on the Atlantic Ocean, how cool is that. When I looked out the window from the 9th floor and saw the beach right there, I was ready to go.

Mom, took a lot of pictures of me on the beach, but she's only posting the ones she likes best. The last one is her favorite, she said it looks like I'm digging to China and wanted to help me at that point. I did get my head in it as you can see.

Daytona Fl 'weekend'

We stopped at Papa Johns and order a pizza and the manager came over to our table and ask me if I wanted to make my own pizza....wow, that was neat. Just a few weeks ago I make my own pizza at domino's
